Antique Portieux Vallerysthal Blue Opaline Milk Glass Covered Powder Jar / Dish

  

This French made piece is in a basket-weave pattern with closed basket handles on the base dish and having an open "rope twist" handle on the lid. It is in pristine condition with no cracks, chips or breaks. The dish is 4" wide x 1 7/8" tall to the rim, 2 5/8" to the handles, on a 3 3/4" base. The lid is 4" x 3 3/8" where it is cut in to fit the handles on the dish, and 1 3/4 tall.
