1960s Glass Lamp Base Possibly Venitian 43 cm tall

  
43 cm tall to the top of glass excluding fittings. This lamp is opalescent with a basket effect to the impressed glass body. A very heavy and substantial piece with red glass trim at waist and base. Possibly Venetian in origin but dating to the 1960s as the bayonet fitting is of that date. Glass condition is excellent with no damage.

Lamp with require a new bayonet fitting as the inner contacts are missing, but it screws off and can be replaced but easily available replacements. Will require a new cable. This item is in the category "Pottery & Glass\Decorative Pottery & Glassware\Figurines".
