Presenting an exquisite antique opalescent green striped art glass vase which beautifully embodies all of the elegance of the Art Nouveau period. This striking piece has been hand crafted in a pale green coloured glass. Exquisite encased opalescent stripes spiral around the elegant form, creating stunning optical effects as the stripes overlay. The opalescent stripes perfectly follow the sleek contours of the form and glisten an appealing vaseline-like quality, which beautifully contrasts the sparkling transparent green glass. This exquisite example has a magnificent radiance however displays no green glow under UV blacklight indicating there is no uranium content. An outstanding addition to any antique glass or Art Nouveau design collection!
EXCEPTIONAL ANTIQUE OPALESCENT STRIPE VASE. This impressive piece stands approx 300mms tall, measures 120mms in diameter at its widest and 45mms in diameter at the top rim. This exquisite vase is presented in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are some absolutely minuscule rough spots to the top rim, barely even noticeable to the touch but mentioned for complete accuracy. This fine example has been very well cared for and presents spectacularly.
