Antique Art Nouveau Hand Painted Opaline Vase. Some rubbing to top surface of gilt border and a trace of slight stain probably from an old price sticker at the top of the foliage. Highly decorative piece with painting of Palladian landscape with statuary.

This is finely painted in red ochre. Gilt embossed borders to landscape panel which is white rather than the muted tones of the rest of the body. Gilt embossed highlights to floral/tree. Gilt surround to top and base. An unusual highly decorative piece of Art Nouveau glass with perhaps Japanese Kutani influence.
