Size: 22.5 cm diameter. Condition: Excellent condition, no chips cracks or restoration. This is a lovely piece of art glass from the end of the 19th century. Hand blown, with a polished pontil mark, it is brilliantly made and has a lovely clear ring when tapped. The dish might be by James Powell (forerunner of Whitefriars, London) or one of the Birmingham area glass making firms such as John Walsh Walsh - as usual for this type of item, it is not signed.

We have another very similar dish and the two were probably intended as a pair, although being hand blown they can never be identical. We are happy to sell them singly or as a pair - please enquire if you are after the latter.
