Antique G. Vallon Opalescent Art Deco Period Glass Bowl

  

Offered for sale is a stunningly beautiful 1920s Art Deco period opalescent. Glass bowl in the Cerises pattern from French maker G. It measures 23.5cms in diameter and stands 8cms in height.

When sat on a dark back ground the glass displays a blue hue. When strongly back lit there are shades of orange in the opalescent areas.

The Bowl is in good display condition with no signs of damage. Makers name and Made in France is embossed on the side of the glass. Attention is drawn to what I believe is a hard to notice burst air bubble contained within the glass at the time of manufacture. A great decorative and collectable item for the modern themed interior.
