Antique Victorian French Blue Opaline Glass & Gilt Border Patterns Scent Bottle. This spectacular scent bottle & stopper is a wonderful example of Antique French Opaline Glass. Created in the mid to late 19th Century in a stunning deep Blue Opaline with hand gilded border patterns, it is a lovely example.

Its gorgeous rich colour & wonderful opaque glass as well as its teardrop stopper and relatively large size, make for a striking piece and a delightful user experience. The perfect statement addition to any collection or display. 16.5cm tall with stopper in, 12cm tall without stopper. Just over 6.5cm wide at widest point.

Rim is just under 4.5cm and the actual opening is just over 1.5cm. The stopper itself is 7.5cm long and just under 3cm wide at widest point. Condition is'Used' - Good antique condition with only minor wear commensurate with age such as wear/fading to the gilt patterns in places mostly on the stopper and rim.
