The creation of the brand VERLYS comes from the contraction of VERrerie des AndeLYS. Here you have an exquisite. Large thick molded Art Deco bowl art glass in high relief. Dating to 1930/1940, this model is called "les canards sauvages" (The wild ducks) and it is signed in the center, it reads "VERLYS FRANCE". It is pale pink in color which is rare to find and features three large ducks spreadings their wings and two koi fish and whirlpool, giving the impression that ducks are fishing. The inner is satin finish whereas the back is frosted finish. In excellent condition, no hairlines, no cracks, no chips. Weighs 2 kg / 4.40 lb.
