Baccarat Glass Blue Opaline Cased Decanter French Gilt Decoration

  
Very fine quality decanter/flask manufactured by the French firm Baccarat. Double overlaid body, with a white interior, then blue opaline, cased in a clear glass exterior, as you would expect from Baccarat. Gilt hand-applied decoration in a rococo style, the depth of the clear casing creating a deep shadow of the decor on the opaline interior. Original stoper in clear blue, also with gilt decoration, and without any chips. Ground out pontil mark beneath. Condition: No cips or cracks to the body or stopper.
