One of the earliest designs from the Barolac/Inwald glass works produced in CzechoSlovakia during the 1930s primarily. This lovely vase depicts a naval battle and was inspired by the painting'The Loss of the Revenge' by Sir Oswald W Brierly (1877). These beautiful opalescent glass vases are high quality. This particular design was one of the earliest so would date from around 1930.
Approx 21cm tall and 21.8cm wide at the top, base approx 18.8cm diameter. Tiny small nibble from base, see photos, otherwise in good condition with no visible cracks. UK only due to weight.
