Fenton Art Glass, Large Cranberry Opalescent Diamond Optic Pinch Vase Ruffled

  

This beautiful Fenton vase comes with original sticker, hang tag, certificate and box. While it would benefit from a good cleaning, there are no chips or cracks.

Using a century-old process, Fenton creates this rich decorative blend of ruby hues by combining pure gold with the timeless glassmaker's sands in a white-hot fiery furnace. The inner layer of gold ruby is encased in sparkling crystal and while the glass is still on the blowpipe it is mouthblown into an optic mould for decoration and then blown again in the final forming mould The Finisher then gives the glass its final form by gracefully flaring or crimping.
