Gorgeous Art Deco French Sabino Blue Opalescent Art Glass Gazelle Car Mascot

  
Here we have a stunning Art Deco ornamental glass piece which was originally produced by top-of-the-range Sabino glass factory in Paris. The elegant, sculptured and streamlined figure of a leaping gazelle in opalescent blue glass was intended to be mounted as a mascot on the front of the bonnet of a splendid 1930s automobile by its very wealthy owner. The excellent condition of this piece, with'Sabino Paris' clearly stamped on the side and base, indicates that it must have been kept safely for display in the cabinet of collectables belonging to someone of taste and distinction. The height of this Art Glass figurine is approx. 10.5cm in length, 16 cm tall with a base diameter of 5 cm.
