Up for offer is this totally stunning and all original, 1930s large ornate art deco Schoolhouse library Pendant lantern light featuring a large Opaline milk glass central plafonier bowl, original silver-plated ventilated gallery, original heavy chain, and original ceiling plate. Spectacular piece of period lighting. Large Hand painted moulded opaline milk glass bowl with a wrap-round floral panelled design and geometric patterns. Cast bronze base finial with a decorative petal tray. Original Large very ornate ventilated silver-plated gallery with a top stemmed hanger, original S shaped hanging ring, and original large locking bolts. Original oval closed links bronze period chain. Original heavy brass ceiling plate with chrome plated open hanging hook. Professionally re-wired in three-core fabric braided twisted cable, earthed, tested and in perfect working order.
