Up on offer here is this superb 1940s large French ornate art deco opaline milk glass Ceiling light pendant, with large stylized crown gallery, heavy bronzed brass fittings and matching ceiling plate.. Stunning piece of period lighting.. All Genuine piece of period lighting.

Weighing 3.9 KG, this fixture is substantially built in heavily constructed components throughout. Original 1940s large French "Vienne" Opaline white milk glass plafonier bowl. Original Large stylized bronzed brass crown gallery with original fittings & very decorative circular rim. The large crown gallery is engineered round a ventilated circular metal plate, which supports the twin head circuit with original brass bayonet fit E22 bulb holders. Cabling from the twin head circuit is housed under a heavy bronze dome-shaped canopy above the ventilated plate.

A brass tubular shaft with an inner threaded metal tube secures the main structure into the ceiling anchor point. This beautiful fixture fixes to the ceiling via a pre-holed heavy bronze ceiling plate. The ceiling plate is ready to fit onto the ceiling, no additional parts needed apart from a suitable location on the ceiling and two suitable screws. Tested, and in perfect working order. Beautiful piece of period lighting, would certainly compliment any themed environment.
