Large Vintage 1930s Rare Art Deco Opaline milk glass school house pendant light

  

VERY LARGE ORIGINAL ART DECO GLASS OPALINE SCHOOL/CHURCH LIGHT. XL size schoolhouse glass pendant light. Top quality hand blown and spun heavyweight glass.

Rare and unusual original light fitting. The glossy glass is all in excellent condition - no chips or cracks, just a few tiny nibbles around the fittingrim. Lovely large glass, 5cm wide (14 inches). Mounted on a solid brass domed gallery and complete with brass chain approx. Can easily be hung toany length of chain.

Brass gallery also in excellent condition with only minimal ageing. Fitted with a solid brass bulb holder with an added earth connection to comply with modern electrical standards. Will need to be wired in to your own ceiling rose. Standard BC bayonet bulb fitting - bulb not included.

Bold Art Deco style, would look great in a hallway or entranceway, bar or hotel. - - - - - - - - - - - -.

Collected over a period of 30 years mainly from antiques dealerships and auctions. Including a lot of original Art Deco from the 1920s and 30s, and interesting Mid-Century pieces. It's time to let them go to a new home, see my other items.
