La Murrina was born in the 1960s in Murano from a small furnace managed by a group of master glassmakers. The starting activity was that of the creation of a few prestigious blown glass objects designed by the same artists who owned the furnace. The company begins to be managed in a more entrepreneurial way, the "La murrina" brand is registered all over the world and the collections are expanded and enriched. The year 2000 marks the beginning of the collaboration with important designers and architects who enrich the production with contemporary design collections, always made according to the ancient techniques of glass blowing, among which we find Licio Zanetti.
