MID Century Modern Murano Art Glass White Murrine Vase Opalescent & Clear Glass

  
A FANTASTIC VINTAGE MID CENTURY MODERN 1950'S ITALIAN MURANO ITALY VENETIAN STUDIO ART GLASS WHITE MURRINES VASE WITH OPALESCENT & CLEAR GLASS. The vase tapers to the top (see pictures 10 and 11) and has oval white murrines arranged vertically that are larger at the top of the vase and gradually reduce in size toward the base and the bottom, also the rows of murrines are angled to the left top.

There are clouds of opalescent glass that extend vertically at the murrines and also between the rows and when the vase is held to the light there is fiery opalescence with clear glass reveals between the rows of murrines. This vase is truly spectacular and will make a wonderful addition to your collection.

The measurements are 11 1/2" tall, 2 1/2" across the mouth opening, 5 3/4" at the shoulder, 7" across the base, and the weight is 5 lbs and 14 oz. The condition is excellent preowned with the notation of occasional very small dark inclusions.
