R LALIQUE 1935 Oursins #2 Opalescent 8 Bowl #3308 crystal Glass Mint Rene

  
This is a lovely opalescent Oursins bowl designed by Rene lalique in 1935 and not produced after 1947. The Art Deco design is clear glass smooth on the inside with the blue opalescent decorations on the outside surface. The bowl measures 8.125 inches in diameter and 3.125 inches tall. It weighs about 2 pounds. The signature "R Lalique France" is stenciled in the center bottom of the bowl. Excellent condition close to mint. I didn't find any scratches. Wear, or signs of use. Like all R Lalique opalescent pieces the blue coloration appears more intense with a dark background. This bowl was handcrafted in René's Alsace France workshops.
