R. Lalique'Perles' Opalescent Perfume Bottle

  
Check out my other items. Rene Lalique created a series in the Perles (pearls) design that includes vases and scent bottles in various finishes. The theme features garlands of pearls all around the glass object. This one is especially lovely in slightly transparent creamy opalescent glass. It is complemented with a cone-shaped stopper that continues the perles pattern. Double signed: moulded on the base and also stencilled on the base rim R LALIQUE (last image).

In addition, there is what looks like. Measurements: 14 cms (5.5 ins) tall including stopper. Condition: bottle and stopper are excellent overall.

The bottle stands on a rim leaving the base unmarked but the rim, inevitably, shows surface contact wear commensurate with age. The part of the stopper inside the bottle has a chip to the side of its base; see penultimate picture. I welcome questions & comments.
