Rare Antique Art Deco Green Jadeite Opaline Uranium Glass Dimpled Pitcher Jug. This fabulous large bulbous pitcher jug is a striking example of Antique Jadeite Opaline glassware. Created in the Early 20th Century in UV Sensitive Uranium Glass these Jade coloured opaque pieces are a fantastic rarity.

Made in Britain by the Stourbridge Makers and in France by the likes of Bacaarat they rose to popularity in the Art Deco Era and are still highly sought today. This particular piece is a delightfully unique example due to its dimpled middle detail, large footed base, pinched spout and exaggerated applied handle. All this along with its gorgeous colour and slightly translucent Opaline make for a spectacular addition to any collection or display!

18cm tall, 17.5cm in length and 12cm wide at widest point, just over 8.5cm diameter across rim and the base is 10cm. Condition is'Used' - Good antique condition with only minor wear commensurate with age.
