Born in Sicily Sabino moved to France as a young boy and later founded the Sabino Glass company becoming one of the most acclaimed of the French glass makers. This stunning figure of a standing girl holding her head back with long flowing locks of curling hair falling to the ground behind her stands on a small rounded base and is made in a bright and vibrant opalescent glass combining blues and bright oily yellows with the iluminosity and depth of a fine opal.
