Signed R Lalique France to the base. 21.3cm tall and approximately 19.2cm in diameter. The underside of the rim of the vase had a small flake chip and this has been polished out. This has only modified the thickness of the rim, not the diameter. I have been involved in the antiques business since 1971.

My career took a leap forward when I joined Bonhams in 1976. Some five years later I became head of the Decorative Arts department.
