Created in the early 20th Century in UV Sensitive Uranium Glass it is a fantastic rarity. These Jade coloured opaque pieces made in Britain by the Stourbridge makers and in France by the likes of Baccarat rose to popularity in the art deco period and are still highly sought today. This particular piece is a striking example with its unique shape and footed base, large exaggerated applied handle and of course its delightful colour and reactive glow. Base is just over 9.5cm wide and across rim is 12cm in diameter. Condition is'Used' - Good overall antique condition with some wear commensurate with age such as a couple of scratches that are dark in appearance mainly on the base but a couple of spots to surface in places. Also some small line scratches on the spout edge.
