Up for offer is this stunning and all original, 1940s large ornate art deco Schoolhouse library Pendant lantern light featuring a large Opaline milk glass gilt hand painted bowl, original chrome-plated gallery, and original ceiling plate. Beautiful piece of period lighting. Large Hand painted moulded opaline milk glass bowl with a wrap-round gilt birds of paradise design patterns. Large fluted see-through heavy glass base skirt.

Original white metal ceiling rod and plate. Original steel and brass internal fittings with original bayonet fit bulb holder. Wired in two-core fabric braided twisted cable, tested and in perfect working order.

Ready to install, no additional parts required other than a suitable space on the ceiling and a couple of suitable screws. For dimensions, please see images. In Beautiful period condition with minimum level of age-related wear (some customary tiny fleabites to the fitter; totally obscured, and mentioned purely for total accuracy) commensurate with its 60+ years of service; (No known faults) (Please see images).
