Vintage original 1950s mid-century pendant light globe shade all brass fittings

  

Up on offer here is this beautiful 1950s mid-century large tinted opalescent moulded glass panelled pendant light globe shade with all original brass fittings, Beautiful & quite unusual piece.. Very Stylish piece of mid-century lighting.. Charming piece of mid-century lighting in lovely original condition. Large tinted opalescent moulded glass segmented globe shade in four horizontal regions with varying degrees of pigmentation. Decorative base canopy with original brass finial.

Original (quite heavy) stylized brass pyramid gallery with original locking bolts and an upper grab ring. Original metal internal fittings with original brass B-22 bayonet fit bulb holder. Cone shaped ceiling canopy with a lockable height adjusted neck and original hanging fitment. Freshly re-wired in period match two-core silk braided twisted cable, tested and in perfect working order. Ready to install, no additional parts required other than a suitable space on the ceiling and a single hook screw. Can be operated directly via the wall switch, or can by individually operated via a ceiling pull cord switch.

Modern pull cord switches are quite cheap, and small enough to fit above the ceiling plate. For dimensions, please see images.

The Pendant is in beautiful period condition; with very little if any level of age related wear for it's 60+ years of service (some light age tarnish to the ceiling canopy), and (No Known Faults).
